"An excellent blend of tasty flavors and great music in one. I ate here Saturday night and had reservations. We had the skirt steak which was excellent. They put a sunny side egg on top which may not sound appetizing, but tasted great. We also had on another occasion the tilapia which was also real good. The mango orange sauce and black beans it comes with were delicious. Try the mussels or calamari for appetizers. They had good live music which really sets a nice mood. We had reservations which seems to be necessary. Service was great. Would never have thought Latin Fusion was so good.

"I actually had my Grandmothers party here. They are very warm and friendly as a staff. Very accommodating, and the food is very high quality. The price is not cheap but the food is worth the price. Very small restaurant but never gets to be too crowded. Great for private parties!"

"Forget about the location" in a strip mall and the modest decor, 'cause this "wonderful new" Commack Pan-Latin shows "a lot of promise" when it comes to "amazing" fusion fare; with such "unique and delicious" dishes such as chipolte-dusted salmon and hickory-spiced steak, "pleasantly surprised" early arrivers promise they'll "definitely be back."

"We went here on 2/15 and I am still talking about the skirt steak dinner I had. We started our meal with house made margaritas. You can tell they do not use a pre-made mix (or it's a good one) because you can actually taste the flavors. It wasn't light on tequila, which is always a good thing. The chips and salsa were delicious. The salsa in particular was flavorful, with just enough of a kick. We ordered the guacamole appetizer which was delicious, our portion of steak was generous. The steak was tender and flavorful. I loved the sunny side egg, which added a lot of richness. The flavors of the different components worked really well together. The steak arrived cooked exactly as I requested. I cannot wait to go back and have it again. Did I mention I'm not a "steak person"? Next time , I'll save room for dessert!"

"What a gem! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and wonderful food. We ended up here one night when our regular spot was too crowded, and what a fun food adventure we had. The table next to us had the skirt steak all around, and we tried it plus the salmon specials-the portions were generous and the food was perfectly prepared. Nice ambience, good wine list."

"This is an unique restaurant in that it is an interpertation of Latin fare with an ecclectic twist. Many dishes are blends of different styles of food. The chef is very creative. The owner who is almost always on the premises keeps the place running smoothly. She also makes everyone feel like friends. The first time I went, I felt like I had been going there all my life. They have no problems adjusting there pre planned dinners to accomodate."

"Hi Liz, I just wanted to thank you and your staff once again for the excellent time we all had at Perfecto Mundo. Everything you planned for my husbands retirement party, from the choice of food, to the decorations, to the music was fantastic! Frank was so thrilled and so were our guests. Days later, I'm still getting calls and emails about it. Everyone complimented the food and service. The appetizer table and the buffet dinner was just right for our party. The flow was great, and it encouraged our guests to mingle and enjoy the music. Several friends commented on how perfect the venue was and how nice it was to have the restaurant for our one event. Thank you also for your recommendation for party musicians. Distant Twins were fabulous! They were everything you said they would be and more. The fact that they wrote a song just for my husband's retirement was amazing. We're looking forward to many more wonderful dinners at Perfecto Mundo!

"Hi Liz, it's Lenore again! I voted for your restaurant and will keep voting…Also my sister and brother in law and nephew were at your restaurant on tuesday..They loved it!! My brother in law and nephew who are very finicky eaters raved about it loved the way the tacos were prepared they mentioned the slaw on top my nephew said it was the best black bean soup he ever had..they are coming back to try dinner..I told them they will not be disappointed..I will be in next thursday night. "I was looking for something different for my spouse's special birthday. I wandered into Perfecto Mundo, almost steps from my home…I had the pleasure of having a conversation with the owner Liz. I knew I was onto something special here. Unlike some of the other restaurants, it was obvious this woman was out to please and make the event special. When I went home I told my daughter, her first question was how was the food? Oops a minor detail. I quickly called Liz who immediately prepared Tilapia and Skirt Steak dishes for our tasting pleasure. My wife and I were sold on the presentation before tasting the food. Well the food was excellent and the event was a huge success. The friendly staff and my new favorite bartendar Steve were all excellent. Liz made many new friends that day. Some wanted to know why I was keeping Perfecto a secret."
